Fire Maker Brewing Co is family owned and built. Elliott Hall, the Owner and Co-Founder, inherited his entrepreneurial spirit from his entire family. This includes his father, Larry, and brother, Josh, both of which are successful small-turned-large business owners, as well as the Co-Founders of Fire Maker. Their first family business, created from the ground up, was a construction company established by Larry and his wife, Mary. After many years of advancement, Larry retired, and Josh took the company reins which has led to its continued success and expansion.
Elliott took a different path on his way to entrepreneurship. He spent many years of his youth on the construction sites, learning about hard work and how to run a business from his family. In addition to the many things he learned from his father growing up, one of the more memorable was homebrewing. As Elliott matured, he developed a deep passion for craft beer and a desire to evolve his love of leadership. During college he began his entrepreneurial beer business venture selling solo cups *wink wink*. Following graduation, this developed into the start of his formal career in the craft beer industry. Over the next decade, he worked his way up through just about every aspect of the industry, including home brewing, retail alcohol sales, working with beer distributors in Georgia, and helping launch and manage breweries.
Throughout his career, he had the opportunity to work with many talented and admirable people. He knew that building his own brewery was the right path for him, not only because of his love for craft beer, but also because of the amazing people who make up its culture and community. (One of those ended up being his supportive wife, Gillon) Elliott wanted a brewery that was made up of passionate people who dream the impossible and make it a reality. The free-thinkers, go-getters, and audacious explorers, who illuminate themselves and the people around them: Fire Makers.
Fire Maker Brewing Company was built to inspire others, celebrate their achievements, and create a spark!
