Considered the oldest gay bar in town, Bulldogs opened in 1978 in a Midtown building now surrounded by skyscrapers. It gets its name from a bulldog mascot named Winston and is popular within the Black gay community. Come for happy hour, the frequent drag shows, or just to dance beneath the disco lights.
