From northern China, Chef Hai Wang has devoted over twenty-five years to his culinary career; this all began at the young age of 15. Over the years, he has learned many types of Chinese regional cuisines including the mala flavors of Szechuan, to the thin and crisp skin of the Peking Duck.
He left China a decade ago to travel to Europe and Russia, where he gained experience working in Western-influenced restaurants before coming to America, to work alongside renowned chef, Peter Chang, as his partner and regional chef in Maryland.
Gary Lin is no stranger to the Metro Atlanta area. Aside from Urban Hai, Lin also owns a number of restaurants in the area including Wei Authentic Chinese in Buford and Marietta, Urban Wu in Buckhead, Hai Authentic Chinese in Alpharetta, and Wok Provisions in Duluth, just to name a few.
