Marietta Square is full of charming little surprises, and this bakery and counter-service spot by Australian natives Mark Allen and Neville Steel is among the best of them. Grab a seat indoors or out to enjoy breakfast quiches or a casual lunch of soup and fish and chips. Roughly 23 varieties of handmade meat pies — steak and kidney and curry lamb grace the display case alongside pastries like oversized pavlovas. Both are also available to go, making them easy add-ons as purchases from the market are rung up.
