CANDLER PARK was added to the list of National Register of Historic Places in 1983. Featuring a 55-acre city park which includes a public golf course, the neighborhood is named after Coca-Cola magnate Asa Griggs Candler, who donated the land for the park in 1922. Two architectural styles, late-Victorian and Bungalow / Craftsman, are predominant but stand side-by-side with modern single-family homes and townhomes – offering something for everyone. Real estate in Candler Park is highly coveted thanks to the neighborhood’s location, wealth of amenities, walkability and architectural variety. For this reason, if you want to call this wonderful community home, you will need to be prepared to move quickly.
